Howdy Friends,

Bandera’s largest event of the year, Bandera Roundup, is just around the corner. Each year folks start staking out their spot earlier and earlier to get a prime spot to watch the Texas Longhorn Cattle Drive and the Bandera Roundup parade make their way down Main Street.

We invite you to enter and be a part of the parade on Saturday, August 31, at 11:00 am. There is no cost to participate and entries of all types are encouraged. To facilitate creating the line-up and script all entries should be received by August 20th. We will be judging the parade this year and awarding prizes to the top two entries in each class. Judging will take place at 10:00 AM. Check out the parade rules and the entry form on the web site by clicking the button above.

In addition to the cattle drive and parade, Bandera will be busting at the seams with activities and entertainment. The courthouse square will be filled with an arts and crafts fair and will feature entertainment and historical re-enactors. There are a multitude of fun activities for the kids, a Bar-B-Q Cookoff, music and the Frontier Times Ranch Rodeo at Mansfield Park!

You have any questions about the parade, please do not hesitate to contact me at 830-796-3280.

Happy Trails for Now,
