Information and Application Forms
You are invited to participate in Bandera Roundup Arts and Craft Show on the Historic Bandera County Court House lawn Labor Day Weekend. For the past 16 years, this event has grown to be one of the biggest craft shows in Bandera County to “Experience” the Cowboy Capital of the World. The event will be hosted by the Arthur Nagel Community Clinic.
The Longhorn Cattle Drive and Bandera Roundup Parade will be hosted by the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce. This signature event will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 1st as the official kick-off for the weekend. The Cattle Drive down Main Street celebrates our history as the gathering place for the famed Western Trail cattle drives.
Also on the Court House lawn we will feature Cowboy singers, historic gun fights by the Bandera Cattle Company and Native American vendors as well.
Saturday evening, a Ranch Rodeo will be hosted by the Frontier Times Museum ng at Mansfield Park, featuring some of the best Ranch Rodeo teams in Texas!
As you can see, we are also working with other Bandera organizations to plan this annual Bandera Roundup, the largest event hosted in Bandera County. This experience will showcase the history of our wonderful unique community to support our local and area merchants by bringing tourists to their doors. It’s not too late to enter our show! Join us! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our Event Team Coordinator, Genie Strickland at 210-215-1995.
